CAD/CAM education splits into two very different products: courses that teach the workflow (scanning, margin design, material choice, cementation of milled restorations) and courses that are really extended demonstrations of one milling ecosystem. Both have value, but know which you’re watching. The workflow fundamentals transfer between systems; the button-by-button software tours date quickly and lock your thinking to one vendor.
The clinical detail I’d urge any CAD/CAM course to be judged on is how seriously it treats bonding and material selection for milled ceramics — this is where chairside CAD/CAM restorations succeed or fail long-term, and it gets far less airtime than scanning technique. If a course covers isolation and resin cement selection for lithium disilicate with the same energy it gives the scanner demo, it’s worth your hour.
